Unique Group of Colleges was established on 3rd Dec 1996 at Rajchopla Modinagar by (Prof) Udayveer Singh underthe aegis of Unique Academy of Professional Development Sanstha, a registered body registration no. 1508 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Prof. Singh was a visionary and possessed an innovative mind and intellect to create something unique. The seed that he had sown has now blossomed into a mammoth tree. Unique Group of Colleges is imparting professional courses like BBA, BCA, B.Com, L.LB, duly affiliated to Choudhary Charan Singh University, ( CCSU) Meerut, and B.Ed, from NCTE and Choudhary Charan Singh University, (CCSU) Meerut and, MBA, MCA approved by AICTE and affiliated to A K Technical University, (AKTU) Lucknow, BTC (D.EL.Ed.) from DIET and Paramedical Courses (Short term and long term diploma) and Hotel Management Courses (Short term and long term diploma) from (DPMI) NSDC, NewDelhi and basic schooling from Nursery to 12th Std. duly affiliated to CBSE, NewDelhi.
The area starting from Ghaziabad to Meerut had few educational institutions and majority of the students used to discontinue their further studies as they could not go to distinct areas With the establishment of Unique institute of Management and technology (UIMT) thousands of students not only within the local area, the state, and country and from abroad took the benefit of Education. Campus
The serene ambience of Unique Group of Colleges, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad is surrounded by beautiful trees; lush green lawn on the banks of Nahar creates an aura of stunned silence amidst nature. Located at a centrally place called Muradnagar on the Delhi Haridwar national highway about 12kms from Ghaziabad and 5 Kms from Modinagar and the campus showcases a tranquil environment where the students can concentrate on their academic endeavors.
The Campus includes no. of well constructed buildings and in the main building wherein the administrative office, faculty offices, classrooms, library and conference halls are housed. Apart from the main building, the College also has an auditorium, guesthouse, number of small syndicate rooms (separate) within the campus.
The Academic block comprise of faculty rooms, Lecture theatres, Cafeteria, Conference halls, Video inference studio and Library. There is a best practice standards in ecologically sustainable design, which ensures efficient use of energy, water and other natural resources, The campus has a beautiful multi storied building comprising of more than 100 rooms hostel facility at Modinagar, separate for boys and girls ensured with all basic and important gadgets.
The Colleges has augmented the initiative for an IT infrastructure to facilitate all its present and upcoming activities. Both wired and wireless network serve as the backbone for the tech savvy faculty and students to assist in software solution that enables real time audio, video, and data communication over LAN, WAN broadcast by using TCP/Multicasting technology.
